Officer reports being out with a disabled vehicle at Highway 1 and 140th Street, Kalona. The owner got a ride from her father and they will be making arrangements to get it moved.
Welfare check on a juvenile female in the 100 block of South Sixth Street, Kalona, who has mentioned suicidal thoughts and sent some concerning emails to some of the other teachers. Officer responded and spoke with parent and the child who deny any issues.
Caller in the 400 block of E Avenue, Kalona, reports her boyfriend struck her in the face. Officers responded and arrested Arturo Jilpas Jr., 32, of Washington, for domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury and possession of drug paraphernalia.
