Washington County Public Health announced that the COVID-19 vaccine clinic originally scheduled for Feb. 6 has been postponed. The clinic will now be held Thursday, Feb. 11 at the Parkside YMCA in Wellman. The clinic will still be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Patients with appointments do not need to make another appointment; they will be able to come at the same time they were previously scheduled. Clinic staff will be contacting those with appointments to confirm.
Washington County Public Health said the decision to postpone the clinic was difficult, but due to impending blowing snow and subzero temperatures, they felt the need to reschedule in order to keep everyone safe.
