Caller in the 800 block of Fifth Street, Kalona, reports a subject at the residence has taken her car keys inside the residence and will not return them. Officers responded. Keys were returned to the owner and the vehicle was removed from the driveway.

Caller reports person from outside the casino (husband going thru divorce) called requesting welfare check on hotel guest. Mentioned she drinks and becomes suicidal. Can’t make contact for several hours. She is not answering phone or door.

Requests a deputy respond to assist with a welfare check in a hotel room. Officer responded and requested medical assistance. Riverside QRS and ambulance responded and transported subject to Unviersity Hospital.

Caller in the 400 block of Seventh Street, Kalona, reports he has 10 new text messages from a subject he has a no-contact order with and some are threatening. Report to be filed.

Iowa County requests Wellman Fire to respond to 3093 V Avenue for six hay bales on fire at the edge of the field. Wellman Fire responded.

Caller in the 3300 block of U Avenue, Wellman, reports starting a grass fire that is out of control, getting close to structures. Wellman Fire, Kalona Fire, Williamsburg Fire and North Keokuk Fire responded.

Caller in the 700 block of Third Street, Kalona, reports the father of his wife’s children will not return their social security cards that she paid for. Request to speak with a deputy. Spoke with all parties. Father will get his own copies and return the originals to the mother.

Caller reports a subject went up Sixth Street in Kalona, on a dirt bike at a high rate of speed. Spoke with the caller. He will call back if he sees the dirt bike again.

Caller in the 1200 block of 145th Street, Wellman, reports three ATVs driving on their roadway after dark. Responded but was unable to locate.

Caller in the 200 block of 10th Avenue, Wellman, reports an intoxicated male is being combative and refusing to leave. Request a deputy. Officers responded. Subjects did not want to press charges. Parties were separated.

Officer reports he will be out with a vehicle that struck something on the roadway in front of him at Sixth Street and Eighth Avenue, Wellman.
