Lone Tree school district sees drop in students enrolled

The Lone Tree schools saw a drop in enrollment this year. The number of students enrolled dropped 13 from 454 to 441.

But the certified enrollment, the number the state uses to supply funds to the district, was just down by five students.

The district had 27 students open enroll out of the district, meaning the students lived within the district boundaries but attend school elsewhere. The district had 99 students open enroll into the district, meaning they lived in other districts but attend school at Lone Tree.
