Lone Tree traveled to Iowa City Kickers for a chance for individual runners to punch a ticket to state on Thursday, Oct. 19.
Lone Tree's top finisher was Vivian Zaruba, a 29th place finish with a time of 23:56.6.
For the boys team, their top finish came from Brock Nebergall with a time of 19:20.2, a 31st place finish.
The top 10 finishers from each race would advance to state, meaning no Lone Tree runners qualified.
