Lawrence W. Bullard, 81, of Wellman, passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020, at his home.
Lawrence was born July 1, 1939, in Panora, Iowa, the son of Kenneth and Bessie (Bankert) Bullard. In 1958, Lawrence graduated from Panora High School and joined the National Guard.
After high school, Lawrence united in marriage to Juanita Nolan on Jan. 23, 1960. In 1961, he was drafted into the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. After his service in the Army, his family returned to Iowa, where he farmed and worked in road construction. Throughout his life, Lawrence loved to hunt, fish and care for animals, especially his dogs.
Lawrence is survived by his wife: Juanita; their five children; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests sending memorial contributions to Essence of Life Hospice, Amana, Iowa.
