Kohen James Cole, 4 day old, son of Kendal and Kristy Cole passed on Nov. 4, 2023, at his home in Riverside. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Riverside. Following services, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the St. Mary’s Parish Center. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the family. Kohen James Cole was born Oct. 31, 2023, in Iowa City, Iowa. Left to honor his memory are his parents: Kendal and Kristy (Simon) Cole; his siblings: Kayson and Kyra Cole; paternal grandparents: Jenny Fisher (Jim Wagner) of Cedar Rapids and Robert and Kim Cole of Riverside; maternal grandparents: Leon and Lauri Simon of Riverside; paternal great-grandparent: Judie Fisher of Cedar Rapids; maternal great-grandparents: Marlene Stevens of Hills and Marvin and Katy Simon of Riverside; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kohen was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents: Keith Stevens, Harold “Sonny” Fisher and Dean and Alice Cole.
