As of Nov. 17, Kalona Public Library is open for curbside pickup only. Our doors will remain locked. To pick up your items call 319-656-3501 and our library staff will bring your materials to your vehicle.

To request items for curbside pickup you may:

Call the library at 319-656-3501.  Use our new chat service on our website

Message the library page on Facebook. 

Email your request to director@kalonapubliclibrary.com.

The book drop is open 24/7; returned materials are quarantined for three days and sanitized before being returned to circulation.

NEW Library Hours: Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Our annual Adopt-A-Book program will begin Dec. 1! This is a great gift to give to anyone, and also to the library. For more information contact the library!
