Curbside is available Monday - Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you would like to come into the library please call us to set up an appointment at 656-3501.

We are looking for good used children/young adult books to use in the little free libraries that exist in both Kalona and Riverside. If you have any, please call us at the library to set up a time to drop them off.

New adult fiction: “Battle Ground” by Jim Butcher; “The Evening & the Morning” by Ken Follett; “Troubles in Paradise” by Elin Hildebrand; “The Return” by Nicholas Sparks; “Shadows in Death” by J.D. Robb; “Don’t Look for Me” by Wendy Walker; “Burn You Twice” by Mary Burton; “The Librarian of Boone’s Hollow” by Kim Vogel Sawyer.

New young adult: “One Way or Another” by Kara J. McDowell; “Grown” by Tiffany D. Jackson; “Majesty” by Katherine McGee.

New junior fiction: “Project Class President” by Alyssa Milano; “A Thousand Questions” by Saadia Faruqi; “Eva in the Spotlight” by Rebecca Elliott.

New junior graphic novels: “Class Act” by Jerry Craft; “Becoming Brianna” by Terri Libenson.

New junior non-fiction: “Super Dinosaur Encyclopedia” by Chris Barker; “A World Together” by Sonia Manzano.

New easy books: “Red Shoes” by Karen English; “A Turkey for Thanksgiving” by Eve Bunting; “Pearl and Squirrel Gives Thanks” by Cassie Ehrenberg.

New easy readers: “Fancy Nancy: Apples Galore” by Jane O’Conner; “JoJo and the Big Mess” by Jane O’Conner; “Sharks Can’t Smile!: and Other Amazing Facts” by Elizabeth Dennis.
