Curbside service is available Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The book drop is open 24/7.

To check out books and schedule curbside pickup you can:

• Call 319-656-3501 Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

• Send an email to kaloplib@kctc.net.

• Send a message via the library’s Facebook page.

• Place holds on your account using the online catalog via our website.

In addition, you may schedule a time to come to the library by appointment only on a limited basis.

All appointments will be limited to 30 minutes with no exceptions. The library’s patron capacity will be limited to five people.

To set up an appointment, call the library at 319-656-3501.

Appointment availability is:

• Tuesday 2 p.m.–6 p.m.

• Thursday noon–4 p.m.

• High-risk patrons Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.

Beginning July 11, the library will be adding service on Saturdays 9:30 a.m.-noon for curbside pick-up and appointments.

New adult nonfiction: “How to Hide an Empire: A History of the Greater United States” by Daniel Immerwahr; “Falter” by Bill McKibben; and “The Food Explorer” by Daniel Stone.

New young adult: “Coral” by Sara Ella; “Come Find Me” by Megan Miranda; and graphic novel “Illegal” by Eoin Colfer, Andrew Donkin.

New junior fiction: “The Perfect Star” by Rob Buyea; “Benchwarmers” by John Feinstein; “TBH, I Feel the Same” by Lisa Greenwald; “Song for a Whale” by Lynne Kelly; and “The Best at It” by Maulik Pancholy.

New junior nonfiction: “Did You Know?: Animals” by Derek Harvey; “What is LEGO?” by Jim O’Connor; “The Battle of Iwo Jima: Turning the Tide of War in the Pacific” by Steven Otfinoski; “Ostriches: The Superpower Field Guide” by Rachel Poliquin; and “Encounter” by Jane Yolen.
