The library will be closed for the holidays on Dec. 24 and 25, and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

New adult nonfiction: “Finding Chika: A Little Girl, an Earthquake, and the Making of a Family” by Mitch Albom; “The Book of Gutsy Women” by Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton; and “Nothing Fancy: Unfussy Food for Having People Over” by Alison Roman.
New junior fiction: “The Scaredy Cat” by Sudipta Bardhan-Quallen; graphic novel “Black Canary Ignite” by Meg Cabot; and “Ship of the Dead” by Rick Riordan.
