Report of a hang-up 9-1-1 call in the 1300 block of Tulip Avenue, Riverside. It may be a small child playing with the phone. Officer responded and spoke with the children about how to use 9-1-1.

Officer reports being out with a male subject that stole an item from the business in the 1100 block of Enterprise Drive, Riverside. No charges per the business as the item was returned. Male subject was banned from Kum and Go in Riverside.

Caller in the 1000 block of Second Street, Wellman, reports loud music in the area. Officer responded and was unable to locate any loud music.

Caller in the 1200 block of Ginkgo Avenue, Wellman, reports the carbon monoxide alarm in the house is going off. Everyone feels fine. Wellman Fire dispatched and responded.

Kalona Fire dispatched south of Slabach Construction on 14th Street for black smoke and flames east of the ball diamonds. Advised it was a controlled burn of some trash. All other units were advised to disregard.

Officer out with vehicle at Eighth Avenue and Eighth Street in Wellman. Subject was having his vehicle towed due to a car –versus-deer accident that occurred at Ginkgo Avenue and 190th Street. Subject was given a state accident report to fill out.
