Caller in the 1300 block of Deer Run Drive, Riverside, reports the neighbor tried to kill a tree and has cut another one down. Unsure of the property lien but was told those are her trees. Neighbor also just shot off a loud firework. Officer responded. Citation issued to Scott Skipton for fireworks violation. In reference to trees, it will be a civil matter until the property can be assessed.

Caller in the 600 block of Fourth Street, Wellman, reports a violation of a no contact order. Officers responded. Arrested Willie Garrett III, 42, of Iowa City for a violation of a no contact order. Also wanted out of Scott County for probation violation on burglary 2nd degree and domestic assault 1st offense with injury. Bond $10,000 cash only. Hold placed for Scott County. Charges to be filed on Sheyenne Chambers, 29, of Wellman, for interference with official acts.

Caller in the 200 block of East First Street, Riverside, reports an elderly female with dementia is lost and wandering around inside the store. Officer responded and gave the subject a ride to her residence.

Report of a truck with out of state plates driving around selling food out of the back. They do not have a permit. Officer checked Kalona and Richmond and was unable to locate.

Caller in the 1100 block of Redwood Avenue, Riverside, reports damage to a window on the residence.

Caller in the 200 block of A Avenue, Kalona, reports a problem trying to retrieve vehicles from an ex-boyfriend property. Responded. Civil matter.

Caller in Riverside, reports a sex offender gave a juvenile their phone number. Spoke with the subject who denied it. Will wait for manager to review video.

Deputy was flagged down in the 200 block of A Avenue, Kalona, by a passerby regarding someone burning trash in the trailer court. Officer checked the area and didn’t locate any smoke or fires.

Officer reports being out with two males and Eighth Avenue and Highway 22, Wellman. Professional photographers were taking photos while the power was out.
