Johnson County is accepting Social Services Emergency Grant applications. The purpose of the funding is to assist organizations in responding to short-term or one-time emergency needs. Funding will support new programming related to services provided in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, capacity building, sustaining of services, or the purchase of essential equipment/supplies.
The County may award up to $100,000 in funding to non-profit, charitable organizations providing services to Johnson County residents. Grants will cover the period beginning on or around Monday, Feb. 15, 2021 and expiring no later than Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
The grant application is located on the Johnson County website, johnsoncountyiowa.gov. Applications are due by 4 p.m., Monday, Jan. 25, 2021. For more information contact Lynette Jacoby, Social Services Director, ljacoby@johnsoncountyiowa.gov or at 319-356-6090.
