Jerry Alt, 80, of Liberty, Mo., died May 8, 2020.
He was born Sept. 25, 1940, the son of Ivan Alt and Velma Woods Alt, in Kalona, Iowa. He graduated from Kalona High School, the University of Iowa and Drake Law School. He served in the Army for three years. Jerry practiced law in Des Moines for more than 50 years.
Surviving are his wife: Iris; brother: Bob; many cousins; and a niece and nephew.
Preceding him were his first wife: Karla Twedt; his parents; and sister: Jean Alt.
