Isaac Boucher won the 100th match of his career with a emphatic pin in the finals of the North Linn Invite.
Boucher, the No. 3 ranked wrestler in Class 2A, needed three wins coming into the day to reach the 100-win mark.
He swept his way through the bracket at the North Linn Lynx Invitational with three pins in just 1:59 of mat time.
The Mid-Prairie senior is 15-2 in matches so far this season and will have time to bolster the number of career wins he finishes with.
Boucher was the top seed in the bracket and saw a bye in the first round. His second round opponent faced a similar fate as many that have come up against Boucher this season. He scored five takedowns within the first minute of the period before pinning Center Point-Urbana’s Kaden Neal.
Boucher has pinned 12 of his 15 wins so far this season.
In the semifinals, Boucher made things quick with a takedown 1:17 into the match and pinned his opponent six seconds later, winning in 1:23.
His finals opponent from North Linn, Nathan Rechkemmer, had used a pin and a major decision to get there. Boucher scored an early takedown and pinned Rechkemmer to win in just 30 seconds.
