IC Gene Society to meet via Zoom Feb. 27

Genealogical research can be exciting. But it can also test your willingness to “stick with it’ and to search sources again and again.

Today’s genealogists are fortunate to have many resources that weren’t available just a few years ago. At the Feb. 27 program of the Iowa City Genealogical Society Theresa Liewer, will offer new hope for those who think they have exhausted all the usual sources. She wants everyone to know there are a few less well-known sources that could help you break through.

Theresa Liewer has been researching for over 40 years. She is past president of the Iowa Genealogical Society and teaches on multiple topics. She also moderates the Irish and DNA Special Interest Groups. Her philosophy is that there is always something new to learn.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the Zoom meeting, which will begin at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 27. Non-members can send an email to icgsnews@gmail.com to receive details on how to join the meeting.
