The Huskie defense is ramping up, having held a second consecutive opponent under 30 points in a 52-28 win over English Valleys.
The Huskies have allowed the fewest points of any team in the SEISC North this season despite having one or two more games played than a pair of other teams. They are averaging a 13.3 point margin of victory so far this year.
Highland gave up double-digits in only one quarter on the way to the blowout non-conference win.
Mason McFarland had 15 points to lead the Huskies while Bill Laughlin added 11.
Cole Adamson dished out five assists to go along with his seven points. Colby Stokes had eight points off the bench, sinking all four shots he took.
Zack Lasek scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds in the win.
The Huskies are now 8-1 on the season. They took on Hillcrest Academy on Tuesday before a big matchup with Lone Tree on Thursday.
