Hills Bank donates over $8,000 to area schools

Hills Bank, as part of the Classroom Cash program, recently donated $1,483.65 to the Highland Community School District, $728.91 to Hillcrest Academy, $662.85 to the Lone Tree Community School District, $4,389.33 to the Mid-Prairie Community School District, $452.52 to Pathway Christian School and $381.44 to Sharon Bethel School. These funds will be used to support programs and services that enhance student educational experiences.

Since 2004, $33,140.64 has been donated to the Highland Community School District, $24,823.63 to Hillcrest Academy, $18,756.21 to the Lone Tree Community School District, $110,177.56 to the Mid-Prairie Community School District, $6,211.82 to Pathway Christian School and $1,994.54 to Sharon Bethel School.

Classroom Cash card holders have earned a total of over $1.2 million for participating area schools. With every swipe of their Hills Bank debit card, over 12,600 customers generate donations from Hills Bank to their designated public school district ot private school in our local communities. There is no charge to the school or to customers.
