Hillcrest Academy will be holding an in-person commencement ceremony on June 14.
“Due to the lifting of restrictions, we have made a decision to hold graduation in person at Hillcrest Academy on June 14 at 4 p.m.,” Principal Dwight Gingerich announced Saturday. “We will have limited tickets and we will have more details to come.”
There are 18 members of Hillcrest’s class of 2020.
Hillcrest had been moving forward with plans for a virtual commencement ceremony on the same date, including a livestream of the ceremony.
Gingerich said that a drive-in ceremony was also considered but weather concerns made it unfeasible.
Hillcrest’s graduation was originally scheduled for May 24.
