The Hillcrest boys grabbed a 64-43 road win at Louisa-Muscatine in a Jan. 23 makeup game.
With Hillcrest leading 10-8, the Ravens went on a 13-5 run over the last three minutes of the first quarter to lead 23-13.
Hillcrest stretched the margin to 39-21 at the half, then scored the first 10 points of the third quarter to lead 49-21 with just under five minutes remaining in the period.
The Falcons finished the frame on a 13-7 run to make it 56-34.
Hillcrest held off the pesky Falcons the rest of the way to secure the win.
Kobe Bontrager recorded 19 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, three steals and three blocks.
Eli Ours scored 11 points, including a pair of treys, dished for eight assists and had three steals.
The win lifts Hillcrest to 6-5 in conference play, 6-6 overall.
Hillcrest girls fall to Louisa-Muscatine

The Hillcrest Ravens girls basketball team lost a road tilt to Louisa-Muscatine 58-22 on Jan. 23.
Esther Hughes led the Ravens with 20 points, three steals, one block and one assist.
Yani Gutierrez added a bucket, pulled in six rebounds and dished out six assists.
Ravens snap losing streak
KALONA
The Hillcrest Ravens boys snapped a three-game losing streak with a hard-fought 49-38 victory over Mediapolis in Hillcrest Union on Jan. 21.
The Bulldogs won the first meeting in December 56-52 at Mediapolis.
Mediapolis got out to leads of 5-0 and 14-8 early before Hillcrest scored four straight to trail 14-12 after one period.
The game was knotted at 21 at the half, as both teams struggled to score in the second quarter.
Drew Blauvelt provided a third-quarter spark for the Ravens, scoring all six of his points in the frame, as Hillcrest outscored the Bulldogs 18-8 to lead 39-29 entering the final stanza.
Eli Ours was 7-9 from the line in the fourth period to help maintain the separation and propel the Ravens to the win.
Ours finished with 19 points and five assists, and Kobe Borntrager recorded 17 points, eight rebounds and four blocks, to pace the Ravens.
