This fall, the scheduled Hillcrest Academy production will take new direction due to current limitations on traditional performances. Three students selected monologues to prepare and perform in the three standard genres: dramatic, classic and comedic. After memorization and direction, Meredith Blossom, Ivana Ebersole, and Sarah Miller were recorded in audition format on the Celebration Hall stage. Their performances were directed by Michael Swartzendruber and filmed/edited by Mike Wagner and premiered on Friday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. on Hillcrest Academy’s website at hillcrestravens.org/drama.
Blossom, a senior, performed pieces from Midsummer Night’s Dream, DNA, and The Birds. Ebersole is a junior and she performed two pieces, one from The Treachery of Images and one from WYWH. Miller is also a senior and her perfor-mance came from Kitchen Sink Drama.
