Highland celebrates homecoming with "Boom Night" at Riverside

As part of their homecoming festivities, Highland held "Boom Night" at Riverside on Sept. 20.

The event began with a parade that ended at Hall Park where the rest of the planned activites took place.

Among those activities there were performances by the Highland cheerleaders, the Lil Huskies, the Highland dance team, and the Highland marching band.

There was also Fall sports recognition where coaches from the football, volleyball, and cross-country teams spoke to the crowd.

The night ended with Brayden Johnston being crowned homecoming king and Sarah Burton being crowned homecoming queen.

The full homecoming court included Stella Slaymaker, Madison Beeson, Shauna Sublette, Nicholas Oriano, Remington Fields, and Jack Pieffer.
