Cristina Gray, 35, of Riverside received a prison sentence of up to 15 years and must serve a minimum of three after being convicted of violating the Sex Offender Registry, second or subsequent offense, a Class D Felony. Sentencing was in Washington County District Court on Friday, July 9.
Gray was expected to report to the Washington County Sheriff’s office periodically to verify data on the Sex Offender Registry, but failed to check in as required. She was subsequently charged with violation in March 2021.
She had two prior registry violation convictions in 2020, making this her third registry violation. Gray also has two prior felony convictions, rendering her a habitual offender under Iowa Code.
