Governor Kim Reynolds signed HF 424 into law Wednesday morning at Washington County Hospital. The new law removes the requirement that physicians assistants have a specific relationship with a physician to practice medicine. The expectation is that this will improve heathcare access for patients across the state and address workforce shortages in rural communities.
