Getting better in the weight room is a year-round affair for Mid-Prairie athletes and some showed off much they have improved over the course of the summer.
Three Mid-Prairie athletes were given the Golden Hawk level in the weight room: Isaac Boucher, Jack Zahradnek and Karsen Jehle.
The number represents the athletes max lift in squat, hang clean and bench press.
The Golden Hawk club is over 1,000 pounds for boys or five times bodyweight or 500 lbs for girls or three times body weight.
