Highland celebrated senior night and defeated Winfield-Mt Union, 49-32, on Jan. 30.
The Huskies were led by senior Sarah Burton, who scored a team high 21 points. In the second quarter Burton surpassed the 1,000 point mark in her high school career, an impressive milestone that was celebrated by teammates, coaches, and spectators.
Highland's seniors this season are Burton, Kerra Longbine, Kylie Allen, Stella Slaymaker, and Kelsi Cerny.
