Caller in the 3100 block of Highway 22, Riverside, requests a welfare check on a child. Officers responded and arrested Demarco Dontae Harris, 34, of Waterloo for violation of no contact order. Subject also has multiple warrants out of Waterloo. Detainer placed. Deputies also checked on the juvenile who was okay. DHS was contacted.

Caller reports a possible domestic situation in room at casino. Responded and spoke to the mother and children. No assault. Unfounded.

Caller in the 200 block of Eighth Street, Wellman, reports a shoplifter left the store with merchandise. Located and cited into court: Travis Allen Deeley, 30, of Wellman for theft fifth.

Caller in Riverside reports two large dogs have been inside a vehicle for a very long time. Dogs are in distress. Officers responded. Vehicle owners name was given to the casino for security to handle.

Deputy reports being out with a subject who is walking on the roadway on Highway 22 and First Street, Kalona. The subject dropped off after an argument and was walking home. The vehicle came back and picked up the subject.

Wellman Fire responded to a small brush fire in West Chester.
