Eldon Hochstedler was born Feb. 2, 1935, in Johnson County, Iowa, the son of Emmet and Annie (Yoder) Hochstedler. Eldon passed away Nov. 3, 2020, in Cleveland, Ohio, where he lived since 1954. Memorial services were held Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, at Bedford Church of the Nazarene in Bedford, Ohio. He married Edna Mast, Nov. 11, 1956, who preceded him in death on Oct. 3, 2020.
Survivors include his children: Stephen (Lois) Hochstedler and Janis (Mark) Bartos, both from Cleveland; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother: Calvin (Shirley) Hochstedler of Kalona.
Preceding him are his parents; sisters: Ellen and Elva; and brothers: Henry and Paul.
