The Highland school district celebrated World Autism Day on April 2 with a window-decorating contest. Windows throughout Riverside and Ainsworth were decorated with symbols of support for autism awareness with a theme of “love, respect and kindness.” District staff also dressed in specially made T-shirts and posted photos on the district’s website, and students were encouraged to do the same.
