Boy Scout Troop 234 receives funds from Sons of Amvets

Kalona Sons of Amvets Chaplain David Murray (who also is an Eagle Scout) presents a Check for $1,500 to Kalona Boy Scout Troop 234. Accepting the check is scout Jarrett Hoffman, the troop’s Senior Patrol Leader. Sons of Amvets vice chair Todd Fitzenry told the Scouts that the funds are for general expenses. Sons of the Amvets are sponsors of Kalona Cub and Boy Scouts.
