Cluster Parishes

We are recording our Sunday Mass and posting it on our Facebook page and website clusterparishes.org.

  • We asked people to send in photos and we tape them to the pews. The idea is that they are represented when Fr Bill says Mass. This went over VERY well, and we got a huge response. Within minutes of sending out the message my inbox started to fill up with people sending their photos! We have almost a 100, and I am still receiving a few photos every day.
  • Our pastor, Father Bill, prays at a specific time every day. We will be inviting our parishioners to join him at that time and pray along with him from their home.
  • We post on Facebook a link to Word on Fire which livestreams Mass everyday.
  • We post on Facebook a link to “Virtual Adoration”. This link directs you to webcams all around the world that are livestreaming Adoration. The idea is to join that chapel in prayer from your home as you view the Blessed Sacrament from that particular chapel.
  • I am frequently posting short videos on Facebook that educates viewers about the Christian Faith. I also email our parishioners a link to these videos. Since many people have a lot of time on their hands, we are encouraging them to take this opportunity to learn more about their faith.
  • I post daily spiritual reflections from various Christian websites on our Facebook page.

Services are tentatively scheduled to begin anew on April 5.

Kalona United Methodist Church

Kalona United Methodist Church has canceled its March 22 service. More information will be available at a later date.

Asbury and West Chester United Methodist churches

In order to keep everyone safe and to comply with the recommendations of the Bishop and now Governor Reynolds, we will be suspending all church gatherings until at least the end of the month.

Hopefully we will be able to worship together for Palm Sunday, April 5. Worst case scenario, we will gather for worship at our regular times on Easter Sunday to celebrate the Resurrection, pandemic or not.
