Caller in the 100 block of A Avenue, Kalona, reports her solar lights have been stolen out of her yard.

Caller in the 700 block of Seventh Street, Wellman, reports the neighbors to the south have at least three dogs in a small pen that bark constantly at all hours. Officer responded. Dogs were not barking upon arrival. Made contact with the resident who advised they are sitting the dog for their uncle. Subject was made aware of the complaint. Received a second complaint from another neighbor in reference to the dogs barking. Officer sat in the area and was unable to locate any dogs.

Caller requests a welfare check on an ex-employee in the 1500 block of Orange Avenue, Kalona. Officers responded. Subject no longer lives there but contact was made with his mother, who is going to contact him.

Deputy reports being out with two juveniles on ATVs in Riverside. Advised the drivers not to ride on the roadways.

Caller in the 600 block of E Avenue, Kalona, reports two subjects were in their dumpster and trying to get into their can shed. They did get a license plate. Officer spoke with the subject over the phone. They were advised they are no longer welcome at the Kalona Casey’s.

Caller in the 200 block of F Place, Kalona, reports something popped and now an alarm is going off downstairs. No respiratory cautions. Kalona Fire, Kalona QRS and officer responded. Carbon monoxide detector was going off.

Officer reports being out with a vehicle in Wellman that was reported stolen from Missouri. Vehicle towed. Conflicting stores between the subjects in possession of the vehicle and the vehicle owner.
