Caller in the 900 block of 10th Street, Kalona, reports they can’t find her son’s car. It was there last evening but was missing when her husband went to work this morning. Vehicle located by Cedar Rapids Police. Owner contacted to retrieve the vehicle. No damage.
Caller in the 900 block of Fifth Street, Wellman, reports a vehicle has been driving through his neighborhood at a high rate of speed. Male driver. Officer left a message for the registered owner to call in.
Caller in the 400 block of Seventh Street, Kalona, reports a large truck parked blocking an intersection on Seventh Street. Officer spoke with the vehicle owner who will get the truck moved.
Caller in the 200 block of A Avenue, Kalona, reports one kid 8 or 9, driving a lawn mower pulling a wagon with other kids inside. There were two lawn mowers going. Spoke with the kids and parents. Problem resolved for tonight.
Caller in the 100 block of Fifth Street, Kalona, reports an incident at his apartment building. Request to speak with a deputy. Spoke with subjects involved. Caller will make contact with the landlord regarding paying for damages.
