Washington County 4-H member Brynn Younge of the Washington County Limecreek Limelights 4-H Club exhibited a commercial heifer at the April 20 Spring Preview Show that received champion in her class and third overall breeding heifer. She is the daughter of Chad and Shannon Younge of Wellman.

In the market beef division, supreme champion went to Tanner Curtin of Oxford with Chianina steer. The $250 prize money was sponsored by Washington County Corn Growers Association.
Reserve champion market steer went to Sophie Sojka of Riverside with a crossbred steer. The $150 prize money was sponsored by Washington County Corn Growers Association.
Eighteen Washington County exhibitors participated in the show, with several of them earning top honors.
In the breeding division: Braydon Clough of Brighton earned champion Saler and Iris Peterson of Washington reserve champion Saler.
Brynn Younge of Wellman earned champion commercial heifer and then third overall breeding heifer.
In the market division, Sophie Sojka of Riverside earned the overall reserve champion market steer with a crossbred. Ryland Shalla of Riverside earned champion Maine Anjou steer.
